Dressmaking Clinic – Bring Your Own Project
Need help getting past a tricky part of your sewing project? This workshop is designed for sewists who are confident using a sewing machine and following a sewing pattern but would like expert guidance with more challenging techniques.
Bring along your sewing project with all pattern pieces and fabric already cut out, ready to sew. Whether you’re starting construction or you’ve reached a stumbling block, I’ll help you tackle the parts you’re less confident with, from zips and collars to sleeves, buttonholes, fitting adjustments, tricky fabrics, or simply working out the next step.
This is not a structured start-to-finish class. Instead, you’ll work on your own project at your own pace while receiving individual guidance and support whenever you need it.
Please come prepared:
- Your fabric and interfacing should be pre-cut and ready to sew.
- Any pattern tracing and cutting should be completed before the workshop.
- Bring your pattern instructions and all the notions required for your project.This workshop is best suited to intermediate and advanced sewists, or confident beginners who already know the basics and want help developing their dressmaking skills.
