This workshop is great for those who never used a sewing machine or want to refresh their skills or regain confidence. This workshop is recommended to do first before doing any other workshop if you don’t have experience with sewing. After this workshop, you can choose to continue onto home furnishings or dressmaking workshops or courses.

In this workshop you will learn how to set up your sewing machine, how to thread it and how to wind the bobbin. Learn about the correct needles and threads, the tension and stitch lengths. You will practice variety of basic stitches and seams, make corners and make your first project to take home with you. All materials are provided but you need your sewing machine. If you dont have a sewing machine, please hire one here for 3 hours.
If you wish to book this workshop as your private sewing party please get in touch.
To bring: your sewing machine, your sewing essentials (bobbins, presser feet, shears, needles etc).
Provided: All materials and tea, coffee, biscuits
