Sewansome is growing, and we are looking for an experienced, reliable alteration specialist to join our professional sewing studio.
We have more customer enquiries than we can currently accept and are looking for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work.
This is an opportunity to focus on what you love – sewing – without the pressure of finding your own customers, advertising, answering endless enquiries, arranging fittings, or chasing payments.

We are looking for someone who:

✓ Produces neat, professional finishes
✓ Understands garment construction and fitting
✓ Takes pride in their work and attention to detail
✓ Is reliable and organised
Experience with the following would be highly valued:
- Clothing alterations
- Dressmaking
- Tailoring
- Zips, hems and repairs
- Formalwear
This would suit someone who enjoys sewing but would prefer not to deal with the business side of finding customers and managing a client base.
Initially, this would be a flexible associate role with payment based on completed work.
