Apron Making Workshop 

Where: The Clay Factory, Redlake Trading Estate, Ivybridge PL21 0EZ  Plenty of free parking

When: Saturday 22.11.2025, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Level: Beginners who already know how to operate a sewing machine

In this relaxed and practical workshop, you’ll create a handmade apron from scratch — a useful and stylish piece you can wear yourself or gift to someone special.

You’ll learn:

  • How to measure and cut fabric accurately without using a commercial pattern
  • Tips for cutting straight lines and achieving a neat finish
  • Construction techniques to sew your apron step-by-step
  • Simple methods for adding straps, hems, and clean edges

What to bring:

  • Your own sewing machine (in good working order)
  • Your own fabric for the apron
  • Basic sewing essentials (scissors, pins, bobbins, thread, etc.)

    *Additional haberdashery items can be purchased from me on the day if needed.

What’s included: Complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits to keep your creativity flowing.

(Workshops are non-refundable, but can be transferred to another date or voucher if cancelled 14+ days in advance.)
