Bespoke Motorcycle Clothing – Because One Size Doesn’t Fit All
During our recent motorbike tour through the Balkans, I kept asking myself:
Why is it so hard to find motorcycle clothing that actually fits properly?
Most gear seems to be designed with a standard male shape in mind, and even when it’s labelled “unisex” or “for women,” it often feels like a slightly altered version of the same template. But people come in all shapes and sizes — broader hips, smaller waists, longer legs, shorter torsos. And when you’re riding for hours, comfort and fit really matter.
After getting increasingly frustrated with ill-fitting trousers, I decided to take matters into my own hands — literally. I designed and made my own pair.
What I wore on that trip was a prototype, made in a hurry before we set off. It wasn’t perfect, but it worked. And now, I know exactly how I’d improve the design to suit a much wider range of body types.
I sourced top-quality materials from Germany, including durable Cordura, Kevlar for protection, stretch fabrics where it counts, and breathable mesh lining. I added thoughtful details like zips at the ankles for easy boot access, an extra-reinforced seat area, and adjustable straps at the knees and waist to fine-tune the fit.
Now, I’m setting up to offer a bespoke motorbike clothing service for riders who are ready to invest in gear that fits them — not a size chart.
If you already have trousers that fit but cant find anything similar again, I might be able to help with that too.
Right now, I’m working mainly with textile gear, as I’m still building experience with leather — although I have worked on some leather items already. Bespoke Motorcycle Clothing – One size doesn’t fit all. I create and alter custom textile bike gear for the perfect fit and style
